What is Homestay?

Homestay is safe and affordable housing for international students, interns, and young professionals coming to the U.S.

For international students, homestay is an opportunity to live in a friendly home with an American family located near your school. You will be able to experience the American lifestyle and culture up close, and practice your English language skills, in the world's greatest classroom, the home. You will feel safe in a family environment, which is just like staying in a second home in the U.S.

Even if you plan to stay in an apartment, we encourage you to choose homestay for the first several months. This time will allow you to become familiar with your area and have time to choose the right off-campus housing.

You can stay a minimum of 4 weeks (except special group programs) or continue for as long as you like.

HOST FAMILY Provides:

o Free airport pick up from the nearest airport by your host family

o Your own PRIVATE BEDROOM that includes linens, bed, desk & lamp

o A private or shared bathroom

o Meals (breakfast & dinner)

o Utilities
